3 Great Reasons to Visit Japan

Japan is one of those special countries that will not fail to fall in love with. There’s so much to see and so there you will never get bored. One of the best things about Japan is that it caters brilliantly for any type of holiday; family, couples, friends or solo travellers.

I have been fortunate enough to visit Japan three time sin the past couple of years, I can assure you that number will increase in the not so distant future. Each and every time I leave the country leaves me wanting more. The transport in Japan is second to none, the high speed trains will zip you around the country with ease.

So what is it that makes this magical country so special?

The People

In my opinion, the local people can make or break a destination. The Japanese people are so warm, welcoming and friendly that I was blown away. Each time I decided to head out with no map and get lost in the streets I always bumped in to friendly locals. Most of the time there was a language barrier but with smiles and hand gestures I always felt so safe and happy.

The Food

Love Sushi? Then you will be in foody heaven in Japan. Alhtough, surprisingly enough, Japan is not where Sushi was created they certainly have made it their own. There are many more dishes to try of course but for me sushi is always top of the list. Eat as much of it as you possibly can because I promise you that when you get back on that plane home you will miss it already.

The Shopping

There are so many little cool street markets where you can pick up unique gifts for people back home, just make sure you have enough space in your bag! Then there is of course the quirky Japanese fashion which I love. Clothes shopping is always fun and very affordable, so pick up some unique pieces that no one will be wearing back home. If you do find yourself back hem and want some clothes with a Japanese influence then Uniqlo is absolutely perfect, I found some great discounts with groupon so much so that I nearly bought a whole new wardrobe.

So what are you waiting for? It’s time to book your ticket to Japan now!
